A one day seminar was organised by the Embassy of the Rep of Uganda Tokyo in collaboration with UDJ to educate ugandans about Japanese laws, and their fundamental rights and freedoms
UDJ invited H.E Ambassador
Betty Grace Akech Okullo to Fukuoka .
Welcomed by Fukuoka City Government ,met the President of
Kyushu University,various faculty heads and she appealed for increased opportunities for Ugandans tudents tostudy at theUniversity,ended by addressing the internationalstudents community about the potentials of Uganda.

The chairman UDJ led a delegation of Japanese
tourists to Uganda to explore the tourism potential and other opportunities . They met H E Ambassador Kazuaki Kameda of Japan to Uganda and H E Ambassaor Betty Grace Akech Okullo of Uganda to Japan at a lunch reception in kampala on the 28th Dec 2018.

its First General Assembley along withindependencecelebrations in Tokyo on
8th October 2017.

In attendence were H.E Ambassador Betty Grace Aketch Okullo of the Rep. of Uganda, H.E the Ambassador of the Rep.of Rwanda and H.E the ambassador of the Rep. of Kenya.


UDJ Organised and sponsored a sports and games one day event at Kawachi-Yukubin Kashiwa chuo on September 16th 2018 under the theme:stimulate and encourage nationwide networking among UDJ member,ugandns in Japan, wellwishers and educate our children at an early age to appreciate the values, culture and ethics of Uganda . The Uganda mission in Japan was represented by Mr. Michael Katungye in the center.
